Thank you for visiting the Sunset Elementary PTO website! The SSES PTO is an active, volunteer-run organization that works to enhance the overall educational environment by promoting volunteerism, encouraging parental involvement, and raising funds for additional resources that benefit all students.

PROGRAM MESSAGES:

To honor your 5th grade student, we are offering the option of including a personal message in the 5th grade promotion program. You may purchase as many messages as you would like and the order form link may be shared with family and friends! Please use this link to submit your message - https://ssespto.membershiptoolkit.com/form/m/276697 -Orders for program messages can be placed until Friday, May 3. All proceeds from the program messages will be used for this year's promotion program, as well as for this year's 5th grade picnic.

5th GRADE YARD SIGNS:

We are excited to offer personalized 5th Grade yard signs for purchase from Nesting Project! They are also offering banners for purchase. All orders must be placed by Wednesday, April 24. 5th GRADE BABY PICTURES:

We will be creating a slideshow of baby pictures that will be shown at the promotion ceremony and for the students to view at the 5th Grade picnic! If you would like your student to be included, please email a baby picture (no other family members please), along with your student's name, to SSESBABYPICS@gmail.com. Baby photos must be sent no later than Friday, May 3.

Back To School

The Sunset Elementary PTO is happy to welcome you to the 2022-23 school year!

The PTO website is now open and ready for you to begin completing back to school tasks. Please follow the steps below for the smoothest start to the school year.

	Log in (top right corner) or register on the PTO website if you are a new family or have not previously registered. If you are new or if you didn't get around to it last year, click on the Login button in the top right corner and follow the instructions. Why register? Registering on our site means you will receive timely communications including our biweekly e-newsletter, The RoundUp. Registrants may join the PTO, sign up to volunteer, register for events, donate to the Invest In Your Child campaign, and purchase spirit wear. All volunteer and event registrations will be managed through this website, so your registration on this site will be required for participation in most events. *NOTE 1:* Registering on this site does NOT mean you joined the PTO. Joining the PTO requires a separate step, as detailed below. *NOTE 2:* If you are already registered on the sites for the SMS PTO, MCMS PTO, RHS PTO, or NHS PTO, you may use the same login information for our site. We are all using Membership Toolkit to host our sites.
	Complete the Family Information and Directory & Publish Preferences online forms, the Volunteer Interests and Opportunities Survey, and the Back to School online packet. When you are logged in to the website, the forms and packet will appear as links below. Families are welcome to submit a message (through Friday, May 3) to be included in the program!
	Time to checkout! After you add your IIYC donation (which included your PTO Membership for the year) and school t-shirts to your online cart, don't forget to checkout! Please pay online using a credit/debit card. If you prefer to pay by check or cash, you may choose to "Pay offline later" and bring your payment to the school front office at any time.
