Follow these simple steps to make sure your child/children are ready for a fantastic year!

Step 1: Complete Your Back-to-School Packet

Complete our online Back-to-School Packet. You'll be able to:

• Register (new families) or update (returning families) your family, student, and teacher information.
• Purchase a field trip shirt and Sunset football jersey (proceeds support Teacher Professional Development).
• Sign up to volunteer for committees and events that interest you.

By creating or updating your account, you'll also gain access to the student directory, spirit wear store, event registration, PTO newsletters, and much more!

Step 2: Stay Connected

Follow Sunset PTO on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date on school events, reminders, volunteer opportunities, and PTO news throughout the year.

Step 3: Set Up Skyward

Make sure you have a Skyward account. Skyward gives families access to grades, attendance, class schedules, teacher messages, and more. Teacher assignments will also be posted there. You can even enable notifications to be alerted when new grades are posted.

Step 4: Add Lunch Funds

Add money to your child's lunch account so they're ready for the first day of school.

Step 5: Register for School Dismissal Manager

Create your School Dismissal Manager account to notify the school of any changes to your child's dismissal plans.

Step 6: Review Car Line Procedures

Take a few minutes to review the car line procedures to help ensure a safe and efficient arrival and dismissal process.

Step 7: Download the School Calendar

Download the 2026–2027 WCS School Calendar and save important dates for the upcoming school year.
