Spirit Week Chair: Organize dress up days and décor to make the main area ready for Fall Carnival.

Field Day Chair: Partner with the PE coaches to plan and manage the event and budget.

Lost and Found Chair: Ensure the lost and found area is organized and handle donations of unclaimed items.

Library Chair: This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys organization, light coordination, and supporting our amazing school librarian and students behind the scenes. Our outgoing chair has done a fantastic job, and we’d love to find someone to continue the great work that helps keep our library running smoothly.

• Organize and manage a team of volunteers to assist in the library one day per week (one volunteer per weekday, plus two alternates).

• Coordinate volunteer schedules and serve as the main point of contact for the volunteer team.

• Support the librarian as the main point of contact throughout the year for the PTO for any requests that pop up (i.e. bookmark purchases during book fair.)

• Build and manage signups for the Fall and Spring Book Fairs, including volunteer coordination and basic support during the events. The PTO Board will help in communicating these opportunities and encouraging individuals to sign up. 

No prior library experience is necessary — just a heart for helping and a little coordination! We’ll make sure there is a smooth handoff from our current chair, including notes, tips, and templates to make your transition as easy as possible.
