Sunset Elementary School is successful because of our families! Volunteering your time is a great way to meet the needs of our school, our teachers, and our students. Without wonderful volunteers like you, many of these events and activities will not be possible! We have opportunities for everyone, whether you have five minutes or five hours, whether you can come in to the school or need to work from home, whether you can participate once in a while or on an ongoing basis. We love our volunteers and appreciate their skills, creativity, and effort.

Here is more detail on some of our open chair positions:
Staff Appreciation: Help coordinate a monthly treat for SSES Staff to show appreciation for all they do.
Corporate Sponsorships: Help secure & manage corporate sponsorships to support our school.
Fall Carnival: Help organize entertainment, sponsor booths, food trucks, volunteers and more.
Family Dance: Help plan and coordinate the family dance including volunteers and day-of support.
Donuts with Grown-ups: Help plan Donuts with Grown-ups, including coordinating volunteers and event setup
Sunset Derby: Coordinate with the fundraising team on ensuring we have what we need for race day (February 26th), help set up/tear down day of, and help manage prize distribution for the 2 week period leading up to the race.
School Supply Chair: Help coordinate the ordering of school supplies for families to purchase.
