Whether you are new to the PTO or new to Sunset Elementary, we are glad you are here! Our PTO provides numerous opportunities for parental and community involvement, all for the benefit of our Sunset students and staff. Follow these steps to stay informed and see how you may participate in all of the exciting things happening at Sunset Elementary!

  1. Register on this site

Registering on this site is NOT the same as joining the PTO.

This site empowers the PTO to accept purchases, complete paperwork, and coordinate our volunteer efforts — all online. Registering on this site means you will be able to register and pay for PTO-sponsored events online and you will receive PTO e-mails, including the weekly PTO e-newletter, The RoundUp. If you have children at Sunset Middle SchoolMill Creek Middle School, Ravenwood High School, or Nolensville High School and you already registered on their PTOs' websites, please use the same login ID and our site will "recognize" you. No more entering the same family information multiple times!

  2. Join the PTO

Annual membership dues will remain $20 per family (not per student) for the 2018-19 school year. PTO members receive exclusive access to our online directory and a printable version of the directory. This directory is also available to PTO members through the Membership Toolkit app. The app is available for FREE through the Apple Store and in Google Play. If you belong to multiple organizations that use Membership Toolkit (like the PTOs for Sunset Middle School, Mill Creek Middle School, Ravenwood High School, and Nolensville High School), you will see all of those organizations presented in the app and you may toggle between them.

    Join the PTO

  3. Follow us on SOCIAL MEDIA

Follow us on Facebook (Sunset Elementary PTO), Twitter (@Ptosunset) and Instagram (ptosunsetelementary) to discuss things with fellow parents, ask questions, and stay up to speed on what is happening at SSES!

  4. Volunteer

Sunset Elementary School is successful because of its families! Volunteering your time is an inexpensive way to meet the needs of our school, our teachers, and our students. Without wonderful volunteers like you, many of these events and activities will not be possible! We have opportunities for everyone, whether you have five minutes or five hours, whether you can come in to the school or need to work from home, whether you can participate once in a while or on an ongoing basis. We love our volunteers and appreciate their skills, creativity, and effort.
